Sadisi (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Sadisi mobile app and the website sadisi.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo from your Google account. We use this to create and manage your account, sync your subscription status across devices, and personalize your experience. We do not post anything to your Google account or access any other Google services on your behalf.
Content You Submit to AI Features
When you use Grammar Check, Writing Feedback, AI Tutor Voice Chat, or Roleplay Practice, the text you submit (or the text version of your speech, for Voice Chat) is sent to our servers and processed by our AI service providers to generate a response. See “How We Use AI Services” below for details.
Speaking Partner Profile & Activity
If you use the Speaking Partner feature, other users can see your display name, profile photo, English proficiency level, and whether you’re currently online or available for a call. Speaking Partner requires you to confirm you are old enough to use it. Call sessions are matched and scheduled through our servers, but we do not record or store the audio of your calls — only session metadata (such as who spoke with whom, when, and for how long) is stored, for minute-tracking and abuse-prevention purposes. You can block other users, and reported accounts are reviewed and may be automatically restricted after multiple reports.
Automatically Collected Data
We use Firebase (a Google service) to collect basic diagnostic and usage data, including:
- Crash and error reports (via Firebase Crashlytics), to help us find and fix bugs
- Basic usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics), such as which features are used
- Device integrity signals (via Google Play Integrity / Firebase App Check), to confirm requests to our servers come from a genuine, untampered copy of the app rather than a modified one
Payment & Subscription Data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, your purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your payment card details — Google handles payment processing directly. We receive and store confirmation of your subscription status and plan type (e.g., active, expired, which tier) so the app can unlock the features you’ve paid for, and we verify this directly with Google’s Play Developer API rather than trusting the app alone.
How We Use AI Services
Text you submit to Grammar Check, Writing Feedback, AI Tutor Voice Chat, and Roleplay Practice is sent to Anthropic (maker of the Claude AI model) to generate corrections, feedback, and conversational responses. Before and after processing, this content is also screened by OpenAI’s moderation service to detect harmful or inappropriate content — this is a safety check, not a general content-processing relationship with OpenAI.
We do not use your submitted text to train AI models, and this content is processed only to generate the response shown to you in the app.
How Audio Data Is Handled
If you use the Voice Chat feature, your device’s microphone is only accessed while you have actively started a voice session — it is never used in the background or without your action. When you speak, your device’s built-in speech recognition service converts your speech into text. Only this text, not the audio recording itself, is sent to our AI service provider to generate a response, and the AI’s replies are read back to you using your device’s built-in text-to-speech service. We do not record, store, or keep copies of your voice audio on our servers. Microphone access ends as soon as you end the voice session, and you can revoke microphone permission at any time from your device’s app settings.
How We Use Google Sign-In
Sadisi requires you to sign in with your Google account to use the app. When you sign in, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo from your Google account, which we use to create and manage your account, sync your premium subscription status, and personalize your experience. We do not post anything to your Google account or access any other Google services on your behalf.
Advertising
Sadisi shows ads through Google AdMob, unless you’re subscribed to a plan that removes them. Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized based on your device’s advertising identifier and app usage. If you’re located in the EEA, UK, or another region requiring it, you’ll be shown a consent form the first time you open the app, and your choice is respected for how ads are shown to you. You can review or change ad personalization settings on your device at any time through your Google account’s Ad Settings.
Firebase & Google Cloud Services
Sadisi is built on Firebase and Google Cloud (both Google services). Your account data, app content, and usage records are stored in Google Cloud infrastructure located in the asia-south1 (India) region. Firebase also powers push notifications, sign-in, and the backend functions that process your requests securely. Who We Share Your Data With
We share limited data with the following third parties, only as needed to provide the app’s features:

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
How Long We Retain Your Data
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
- Speaking Partner request and session records are automatically deleted after a short retention period once resolved, since they have no ongoing purpose beyond that window.
- AI feature usage data (e.g., daily minutes/session counts used to enforce plan limits) resets daily and isn’t retained long-term as identifiable content.
- If you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data, except where we’re required to retain limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data in transit and Google Cloud’s infrastructure security for data at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Sadisi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Speaking Partner feature specifically requires users to confirm they meet the minimum age before using it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your Rights
You can request to:
- Receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated personal data (see Data Deletion above)
